Here's my vote for just having to just create a single slice for FreeBSD! :) I created two partitions using the Mac OS X Disk Utility. One for Mac OS X and the other for FreeBSD. Booted the 6.2 install cd, allowed disklabel to automatically create / swap /var /tmp /usr, and continued. Dies with an error that it's unable to mount /dev/ad0s4. So if I instead create the partitions using Disk Utility, things will work?
