Oh yes it does :-)

<ESC> for filename completion (and Ctrl-D for listing possible
matches).

recall and editing:

    % !3:s/foo/bar

see man csh

prompt (add the alias to your ~/.cshrc):

    % alias cd 'cd \!*;set prompt="`whoami`@`hostname`:`pwd`{\!}% "'
    % cd /var/log
    marko@marder-1:/var/log{23}%
