Methinks you want to have a look at ppp(8), pppoed(8) and the last two
entries in /usr/share/examples/ppp/ppp.conf.sample.

Dunno about your "port redirecting" and "ipchains" question.  With
PPPoE you use IP routing through a "tun" device (e.g. tun0).
