I need to run rsh as root from one machine to a freebsd machine in order to copy some files. I figured that all I have to do is add the local machine to the remote fbsd machine's /root/.rhosts file and to hosts.equiv. I still get permission denied, however. It works ok as a regular user. The remote machine is running fbsd 2.1. am I missing something here?? Drew
