How come the gtk libraries, which are clearly x11 type things, have been moved to install in /usr/local/lib? gtk, without x11 installed, is completely useless. Not only is this really counter-intuitive, since all the older versions of gtk _did_ install in /usr/X11R6, the gimp stuff detects the older includes and libs, and refuses to build with them there (even if the right stuff is in /usr/local/lib).
