Hello; i am trying to pick up where http://www.r.dl.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~tanimura/freebsd-serialmidi/ leaves off. can anyone tell me if the microtimeout patch is still required? i ask this because i understand that freebsd has made progress in terms of realtime behavior, so wouldnt it be possible to leverage those improvements? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. tnx! johnu -- John L.
