The following reply was made to PR ports/176504; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Raphael Kubo da Costa <rakuco@FreeBSD.org> To: Andrei Lavreniyuk <andy.lavr@gmail.com> Cc: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: ports/176504: [NEW PORT] devel/crxmake: Make chromium extensions Date: Sun, 09 Jun 2013 21:39:24 +0300 Thanks for the submission. A few comments about the new port: o pkg-descr should be shorter. It's not really the place to explain how to use the program. See [1] for more information. o The patches to the Ruby files you have added look inconsistent (for example, one of them removes the shebang line while the other hardcodes /usr/local/bin/ruby in it). Try using USES=shebangfix for a more portable solution. [1] http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/book.html#porting-desc
