I have just built/installed the XFree86-4 port (just to make sure that
nothing has changed in that respect), and the driver is still there:

-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  50700 Dec 12 14:32 /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/i810_drv.o

I do not know what happened with your build.  The only reason when i810
X driver is not compiled, is when the FreeBSD is older than 4.1-RELEASE,
or non-i386 architecture.  See the XFree86-4/files/patch-d for details.
