Yes, on *exactly* the same hardware, Win95 networking is about half again as slow as FreeBSD networking. (In case you missed the point, this is *exactly* the same, meaning nothing has changed, disk, card, etc..) This can be demonstrated on *many* different machines in my office, all of which are configured differently, from laptops to desktops. Nate
