Subject:   qlogic isp 6312 device not showing up

ibm xseries 346, dual xeon dual core with qlogic fc card.

external disk device shows up within the qlogic bios (once wwid is 
correctly added to the disk array manager,ibm shark) however does not 
show from within freebsd. any ideas? information below.  thank you.
