Many don't work in Class 2 *at all*. I would definitely turn the SpeakerVolume to "low" while debugging, as well. > ModemSetupAACmd: AT+FAA=1 # enable in current class And many brands of modem require a bit extra here, since for the old Rockwell chipset (and maybe some more modern modems), auto-adapt only works in Class 0 operation.
