I'm sorry for my part in 1.52.  I didn't understand what the
implications of the change were.  When my boss asked me why I'd
glanced at it and didn't say anything, I had to do a lot of 'errr,
ummm, welll, I didn't think it would break anything' but I was clearly
wrong :-(.
