i'm using freebsd 2.2.5 under Xfree86 3.3.2 i just did a pkg_add of xemacs - version 20. the package seemed to be installed alright, in so far as there were no error msgs or anything - i already had the 3 other prerequisite packages installed (png, jpeg, xpm) so, at the command line (of an xterm) i type in "xemacs".....and out comes the following error: ELF interpreter /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1 not found Abort trap i'm afraid that i don't even know what ELF is.....i'm really at my wits (little though they are) end..... is there anything you can tell me.... thanks for any help....maris maris@ciaccess.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
