	Well you can if you don't care about privacy... try the -X
sendmail option - eg sendmail -bd -q30 -X /var/log/sendmail.log    to
start it up, and the line:
	O LogLevel=9 
in sendmail.cf.

But I agree - it's not a very polite thing to do.
