Some people see strange things happening if MySQL is compiled with e.g.
libpthread. I've seen a very slow MySQL on a -current as of March 19.
With a 4.6 MB large database dump MySQL needs ~20 seconds to recreate
the database if compiled with linuxthreads. If compiled with libpthread
I aborted after waiting several minutes.

Bye,
Alexander.
