It should be 255.255.248.0. I've double checked my rc.conf and here
is the configuration for ed1:
ifconfig_ed1="inet 15.75.136.174  netmask 255.255.248.0"

But I want to use multihoming. Are you saying that it's not designed
for what I want to do?
