Thanks for the "Java on BSD" advocacy work.  Just a point though, I'm not
the leader of the FreeBSD porting effort (and am, in fact, the most recent
member of the team).  I'm just the one who releases the patchsets :).  The
patchsets are also unofficial, although obviously due to the porting teams
efforts.
