Hmmm. Then I don't know what else to fix. After cvsup, my local copy
"should" be identical to yours, or are there possible differences if
some cvsup in the past crashed?

Same here (or, rather, I have one kernel-mode ppp connection isp1, and
a user-ppp connection using tun0 and /dev/i4brbch0)

Yep, I have version 01.01.1, Jan  7 2002 17:40:32 as well.

Is there a way to "decode" the error messages to find out what actually
went wrong? Like, "lost interrupt" or "received packet has too few bytes"?
