Hi!

I got asked to add FreeBSD+DragonFly specific patches into pkgsrc to
better support X11 on those platforms. However, this would add work
when updating these packages, so I'd prefer to get the patches
accepted upstream instead.

I've asked on the xorg-devel mailing list and cc'd kwm and zeising,
because I found them on one of the FreeBSD web pages as working on
X11, and the xorg people have given feedback, but no FreeBSD people
joined the discussion.

See

and followups

Could you please join the discussion and work on the patches?
I can help with preparing them in the proper format and/or pushing
(after they get Reviewed-By tags).

Thanks,
 Thomas
