Subject: getting dhcpd freebsd box to send (not recieve) hostname

I have a home network containing a w98, XP, ME and Freebsd box, acting as a
proxy/gateway/dns/dhpd server/??. My dhcpd updates the DNS. This works OK
for all windows boxes.

When I boot the XP machine into FreeBSD, the freeBSD appears not to send a
hostname to the DHCP server, causing the DNS update to fail, and it produces
and error - dns.c(428?) - non null pointer. (see earlier post DHCP -> DNS
.....)

This appers to be a known problem with Mandrake (seee earlier post). Does
anyone know how to fix it/What I'm doing wrong in freeBSD?
