	The stock apps are a weekend project.  If any of these toys

	Found it, downloaded, unbundled, and have the little fellow
	on my root window.  Thanks for the pointer.

	Changing the attributes this way is just fine.  In fact, I
	may only to need to set it once. 

	This conversation could well have been taken off-line.  But
	I think it's been instructive.  That Unix ((Berkeley Unix and
	others)) is  endlessly flexible and colorful and fun.  Lot of
	toys... .
