Yes, and I had never had src/secure in my tree until it became required
for openssh. The people dealing with crypto have been treating things
like src/secure has become required functionality, and it's not unusual
for the world to be broken without src/secure.

So, things *have* changed, from my point of view. Because src/secure
became a virtual requirement, the default I want, MD5, is not default
anymore.
