I'm running freebsd 7.2p3 and I believe I started seeing the following messages after the p3 patch. /etc/rc: WARNING: devfs_set_ruleset: you must specify a ruleset number /etc/rc: WARNING: devfs_apply_ruleset: you must specify a ruleset This is in /etc/rc.conf, but I don't know what put it there: devfs_system_ruleset="localrules" The man page for devfs mentions name, not number.
