Karo, ] I have tried ion, evilwm, and ratpoison. They all have their ups and ] downs. I think evilwm is pretty nice, except it has lack of keybinding ] support, and window control features. ] ] What can people suggest for a lightweight, keyboard focused WM? Here are some pointers. I'm only personally familiar with Blackbox, which I like: Blackbox Window Manager (VA Linux systems shipped with this as the default WM for a while) http://blackboxwm.sourceforge.net/ Matchbox Window Manager http://handhelds.org/~mallum/matchbox/ Here are several discussions on the topic, which I find more useful than a straight list of choices such as you'd find at Freshmeat <http://freshmeat.net/>: Slashdot | Matchbox -- a Small Footprint Window Manager http://slashdot.org/articles/02/08/01/0257258.shtml Slashdot | Best Mouse-free Windowmanager? http://slashdot.org/articles/02/03/21/166215.shtml Slashdot | Lightweight Window Managers? http://slashdot.org/articles/01/11/26/1559211.shtml Regards, Eric -- Eric De Mund <ead@ixian.com> | Ixian Systems, Inc. | 53 49 B2 23 AF 6C 20 81 http://www.ixian.com/ead/ | Mountain View, CA | ED DD 4C 81 AA C9 D1 A5 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
