Hi: I just bought FreeBSD 2.0 from Walnut Creek. The CD-ROM has a January, 1994 date, but the case is dated January, 1995. Release notes on the CD is ver 2.0 so I guess I have the latest version. Will this version work with a SonyCDU-55e drive? This is an IDE ATAPI CD-ROM that I have connected directly to one of the built-in IDE ports on my PC. If it will not, is there an alternative way that I can get the OS installed on my PC short of buying a supported SCSI CD-ROM and controller? My system is a DX/2-66, 700MB H/D, 16MB RAM, PCI bus, 3.5", 5.25", Colorado Tape, Sound Blaster Pro 16, 28.8 internal modem, Diamond PCI video. The H/D is connected to the primary IDE port and the CD-ROM is connected to the second port. Thanks for your help. Dave Davis
