Your going to have to set up the card.
man ifconfig

Eventually you will have to update /etc/rc.conf to reflect the settings.

HELP~~~
I had just setup a FreeBSD server box.
The problem is face here is I can't get connected to Internet.
I have D-link network card and LAN connection to Net but I have no idea how
to
get connected.
Can help me pls...
Btw.. I also got msg after the system boot:
color Squid: Don't run Squid as root, set 'cache_effective_user'

I'm totally new with FreeBSD or should I say Unix enviroment.
so... pls pls help me out here...
