I did not see anyone respond with xinetd. Is there something I should know? I know of the other packages, and have used both in different scenarios, but it seemed to me that the easiest and quickest way to do what he asked was xinetd. I know the other stuff offers many more options, making them more flexible, but if limiting the IP of the source is the main goal, then why not xinetd?
