The PR 112984 patch submitted is a work around and should not be considered a "fix" as it breaks DRM locking which can result in lockups when running multiple DRI clients. In addition, PR 112984 does not address the root cause of the problem which is a described in this PR. Please reopen this PR, or add the root cause information in this PR to PR 112984.
