I did a cvsup of my ports tree, applied the patch to firefox and did a 
clean install.  Seems to work fine.

$  firefox
*** loading the extensions datasource
*** ExtensionManager:checkForMismatches: no access privileges to 
application directory!
*** loading the extensions datasource
