This is for a desktop, but was told this would probably be the best place to post this issue.... I installed fresh last night, was able to pull this card up and connect to my home access point, then I took it out of that mode and made it an access point itself with hostapd, my laptop was able to connect and aquire a dhcp address from this machine. At some point it stopped working, and the box wont even let me address the card anymore, I've got some dmesg things here, at one point theres some channel errors, after those happened I haven't been able to address this card with ifconfig. It's an engenius pci 802.11 card, below is dmesg and other info.
