Is that host running Windows 2000 or XP?  Does it also have "Register
this connection's addresses in DNS" checked in (deep breath):

Control Panel -> Network -> Local Area Connection -> Properties -> TCP/IP -> Advanced -> DNS 

?  if so, uncheck it :)
