Upgrading from 4.0-RELEASE to 4.1.1-STABLE has broken the SKIP port -- I've already mentioned this to Archie, who is apparently swamped. I'd like to help with this, but I too have limited time resources. Examining the logs indicates that the failure is in the verification of the remote hosts identity via calculation of the MD5 hash of the public key. CDP works okay, according to tcpdump. My interim solution is to revert to 3.4-STABLE, but this is less than ideal. Longterm, I intend to implement a version of SKIP to work via the DIVERT interface. But between the long and short, is there any way we can fix this port?
