the problem that i reported earlier in the tk3.6 package: Tcl_AppInit failed: tk_library variable doesn't exist only occurs with the package. the port compiles with TK_LIBRARY defined as /usr/local/lib/tk and runs wish beautifully ;) just getting closer closer to XTeXshell all the time ;) jmb Jonathan M.
