OK, I've gotten a bit further by starting at 32 instead of 0 like
Seppo said for a boot disk, even though this is not one. Now I have
the following:

8 partitions:
 # size offset fstype [fsize bsize bps/cpg]

  a: 669664 32 4.2BSD 0 0 0
  b: 0 0 swap
  c: 669664 32 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0*- 326*)
/tmp/EdDk.a003560: 24 lines, 536 characters.
disklabel: ioctl DIOCSDINFO: Open partition would move or shrink
re-edit the label? [y]: y

What have I done wrong now?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Irvine Short
