Didn't work. Why would you suggest putting it in the rc.conf like that? I
mean calling it xl0_alias5    then commenting it on the end of the line as 
"# first" ?
Maybe I've done something wrong. Also, aren't you supposed to have an
netmask of 255.255.255.255 for an alias?
