My spin on all of this is that homegrown "solutions" to the /usr/X11R6 dependency problem are just bogus. I have no interest whatsoever in changing the current scheme of things and will resist any such initiatives for the time being. They're guaranteed to buy us little more than confusion and incompatability with the rest of the XFree86 world. If we want to work with the X Consortium folks on a longer term and farther ranging solution, then let's do that. Until then, I'd like to get on with our business if generating content! Jordan
