Under -stable, various dates (this problem hasn't changed for a long time):

Now, all *I* need is to get our ypbind to handle an NIS+ server in
compatibility mode; our SGIs under both 5.3 and 6.2 and the Sun 4.1.3 systems
do fine but freebsd doesn't find the domain server (and we have a master
and a slave, both in yp compat mode) (and fbsd ypbind won't connect even
if you try to point out the server directly).

A kluge would be to run a yp slave server on one of the other Sun's but
I'd rather not do that :-)
