I don't think thats it. I wrote in yesterday with what sounds like the 
same problem in installing (i.e. from a DOS partition, getting the same 
error message), but my machine is NOT running Win95, and never has.

Since I've been completely unable to install from my hard drive, I'm 
going to try installing from floppies (in case anyone cares).
