Did you install the mgetty+sendfax port? When I installed this port, an
entry was added to my '/etc/ttys' file which attached 'mgetty' to
'/dev/cuaa1'.

To fix it, I removed the last line of '/etc/ttys' and had 'init' reload the
file.
