What's odd is that I'm getting the same message for my SCSI disk (a 2GB
Hawk), but my boot disk, wd0, reports fine.  Hm.....

oops your dmesg is hosed.  Post the contents of `/var/run/dmesg.boot'
instead.

No, it's some confusion in the FreeBSD area.
