No to all of these -- I cannot rule them out.  However, I recompiled
Gnome yesterday -- a very minor upgrade, about two weeks worth of
updates, as I was chasing something else -- and before the "upgrade" it
worked properly.  I did not check any stats before the "upgrade" so I
cannot compare.
