I guess that's the price that has to be > paid. Unless you're absolutely certain someone is never going to talk sense, I reckon the backscatter is quite useful, to keep an eye on what the killfiled person is talking about and how people are reacting. Killfiling whole threads automatically because a particular person has joined in is a drastic step. Jonathan
