Thank you for your response. Works. $ pkg info -D slim slim-1.3.6_9: ************************************************************************* Thanks to Nikos Ntarmos, it is now possible to start slim from /etc/ttys. Please see /usr/local/etc/rc.d/slim for instructions on how to do that. Alternatively, just put slim_enable=yes into /etc/rc.conf *** Option "sessions" is no longer supported. *** Now you need to put session files in the directory specified by option "sessiondir". They should be xdg-style .desktop files. The "Name" entry in the session file would be used as session name. The "Exec" entry would replace %25session in login_cmd. ************************************************************************* On Thu, May 14, 2015 at 4:22 AM, mfv <mfv@bway.net> wrote: > > # pkg info -D <package> > > may help > > Cheers ... __o > _ \<,_ > Marek (+)/ (+) > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > On Thu, 14 May 2015 02:00:16 -0500 > Tony Narlock <tony@git-pull.com> wrote: > > > I'd like to be able to see the post-installation instructions for > > packages. > > > > Does PKG(8) have a way to show the ``pkg-message.in``? > > _______________________________________________ > > freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list > > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > > To unsubscribe, send any mail to > > "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" > >
