I did, however, post a follow up (with "Forgat it" appended to the original Subject) because my colleague had told me he'd "read all the help files" which I took to mean the Handbook & FAQ. Turns out he just meant the *.txt files on CD 1. As Doug pointed out, the answer is in FAQ 2.25 (he's got the disk as the master on the second IDE controller).
