I just upgraded both postfix and cyrus-sasl to the latest port versions. I previously used the port versions from about a month ago. Since the upgrade, smtpd dies with Signal 11 when attempting to perform a sasl authentication. I have made no configuration file changes, no hardware changes, and did not change compiler optimizations. Software: postfix 1.1.10 with TLS, cyrus-sasl 1.5.27, and DB3. My mail server offers SASL authentication over TLS only. The mail server is configured to permit relaying for user shamrock via a password stored in sasldb. The sasldb file has not changed.
