A "compromise" involving only one of the parties is not a compromise.

You are the only one who seems to feel justified in ignoring the concerns
and objections of our Principle Architect. Perhaps you don't understand
the weight carried by that position, but the David's judgment is binding on
all technical issues. It doesn't matter if your change is 1 character or
involves 100 source files, if David takes objection to it and you fail to
persuade him differently, you lose. We chose David for this position
because of his technical competency as well as his level head. But little
of this matters if you continue to take a hot headed, holier than thou,
approach to you involvement with FreeBSD.

If you don't have the patience to operate within the bounds of the FreeBSD
project, stop wasting our time.
