Ok here's the results from without limiting ARC in anyway in loader.conf

ARC Size:
        Current Size: 15.08% 1544.27M (arcsize)
        Target Size: (Adaptive) 15.08% 1544.47M (c)
        Min Size (Hard Limit): 12.50% 1280.00M (c_min)
        Max Size (High Water): ~8:1 10240.00M (c_max)

Mem: 40M Active, 4849M Inact, 1671M Wired, 199M Cache, 20M Buf, 159M Free
Swap: 4096M Total, 784K Used, 4095M Free

So in effect we have a machine with 7GB of RAM but we are only getting
1.5GB worth of caching, the rest is being eaten up by memory sendfile
forces into Inact and ARC never seems to push back to balance this out :(

Next test is going to be sendfile off but keeping no manual tuning.

    Regards
    Steve
