Well, to be honest with you, after 8 hours of scouring
the web...and reading the Porters-Handbook....and
still not finding the answer, i decided to open the
Makefile.

wouldn't ya know?? It is setup to configure with DSO
support!

However, my sysadmin ran the thing that updates all
the ports, and now I'm getting some error when i try
to make new versions of stuff.

something about bsd.port.mk.
