Perhaps it's just the snap I'm currently running on my laptop (a Sony Vaio R505TE), but apm isn't finding any battery plugged in. The snapshot is from July 21st. [jim@helios:~]$ apm APM version: 1.2 APM Managment: Enabled AC Line status: on-line Battery status: unknown Remaining battery life: unknown Remaining battery time: unknown Number of batteries: 0 APM Capacities: global standby state global suspend state resume timer from standby resume timer from suspend [jim@helios:~]$ I do have apm compiled into the kernel and enabled in rc.conf. Am I missing something obvious? The apm module in gkrellm also thinks there's no battery (and it is indeed plugged in and fully charged). - jim -- jim mock <mij@soupnazi.org> tech writer | iXsystems, Inc. http://soupnazi.org/ work: jim@ixsystems.net | jim@FreeBSD.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
