so i tried to install staroffice52, by first fetching it. to my annoying surprise i was presented w/ this message... # script -a log make fetch Script started, output file is log ===> staroffice-5.2 depends on file: /compat/linux/lib/libc.so.6 - found ----------------------------------------------------------- Staroffice setup needs a running linprocfs, which is not activated on your system. Please read the linprocfs(5) manpage and add the following line to /etc/fstab: linproc /compat/linux/proc linprocfs rw 0 0 ----------------------------------------------------------- *** Error code 1 ... i can understand the need for linproc for configure and later process, but why for fetch? what does linproc has to do w/ the fetching of a file? waiting to be enlightened... - parv -- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
